EVERYTHING POTTY

I wanted to put everything Potty in one place so it could be easier to find. Here is everything we used and the video about explaining our process and experience.

Books we read:

Short and sweet. Leslie Patricelli has the cutest illustrations!

A Potty for Me!

by: Karen Katz

This was one of my favorites! We loved the child approach and how the character says she's not ready yet, until she is!

Diapers Are Not Forever
by Elizabeth Verdick

I like how this book covers the process: go, wipe, flush, wash their hands.

P is for Potty
by  Naomi Kleinberg

What I like about this one is that it's lift the flap, and also, my daughter loves Elmo!

Potty Time

by Caroline Jayne Church

My daughter loved pressing the button to heart the toilet flush in this one.

q-17.jpg

Big Girl Panties
by Fran Manushkin

I like the approach of this this girl explaining what it means to be a big girl, and how she explains that babies and toys don't wear underwear like mommy, big girls do!

Where's the Poop
by  Julia Markes

This might be my daughter's favorite. And it's not really about going to the potty, but talks about how many animals go potty, and then shows how we, humans, go poo in the potty.

Going to the Potty

by Fred Rogers

Ok, ok, Ok. This is an oldie, but Goodie! The information here is very very rich. And the real life pictures help a lot. Plus, Fred Rogers, will always be the best at explaining any process to a child.

Setting up Potty Space

Multi-Stage 3-in-1 Potty
Munchkin - Arm and Hammer

I liked this one mainly because it didn't have 39 colors. Also, it becomes a step stool and adapts to big toilets for later. It's easy for her to open and close the lid, like a real potty. Also easy to clean.

Small Baskets for Books, Toilet paper, wipes and other essentials.

EZOWare

I tried to make the space have everything she needed. These baskets are 3 for 24USD. When she was having more accidents, I used to store a whole set of clothes and extra undies too.

Munchkin Faucet Extender

Munchkin

Aparte de comprar una escalerita para subirse al lavamanos, este resulta súper útil para que lleguen sus manitos al agua.

Clothing basics

Training Pants
Honest Company

If you're a Honest Company fan! Then you'll be happy to know they have Training pants too! Woohoo!

I must say, that these aren't as powerful as containing pee in night time accidents, because they're pullups, sometimes a little pee flows out of the back.

Baby Girls' 4-Pack Training Pant

Gerber

These are a hit! They are easier for toddlers to put on and off. And the extra lining provide a little extra time to run to the bathroom.

Washcloths

Amazon Basics

I've had these since my daughter was born and we still use them. I always keep handy just in case there are accidents, or for drying hands. I recommend them. After two years of using them they still feel and look great.
