OUR HOME

Some things that have worked for us. Other interesting finds about home organization.

The area rug

The thought process behind this one, was basically, we didn't want anything expensive, because we knew we'd have many many play days on top of it. So far: paint, bubble, food, wine, play-dough, pee! And it still loos pretty decent. So if you're looking for a rug that will handle a LOT. Then definitely check this one out. LINK HERE!

I know this area rug is smaller than it should be for the space. But we're not planning in being in this apartment for a long time, and I wanted this one to be in Victoria's next play space anyway (Let her keep trying to destroy it )

The shelf

We wanted a small one that could adapt to the space and that wasn't extremely expensive, but still made out of wood. I wanted it to be open instead of cubes because since we only had space for ONE I needed it to be a little more versatile. This one is the ECR4 Kids Birch Streamline Storage Cabinet 2 Shelf with No Back. However, it seems to be discontinued... The next option similar to this one is:

The sandbox

We LOVE having this in our tiny balcony. Like that it has the lid, protects sand from rain and dust. I can't seem to find it on Amazon anymore, but here is the link to Little Tikes: HERE

The little table

This has been one of the best purchases, this set was only 40 dollars, and it's the perfect size! It's lower the the Ikea and other brands that leave my daughters feet hanging. Also, easier on the eye than other tables I've seen for this price. It's from that Australian Store: ANKO, link HERE

Oh yeah, it's 40 bucks, it won't last 3 generations, it's pretty light weight. But we've done a good job at taking care of it and it looks great!.
